You can lose a bunch with shocks/suspension components as well. 2014 Raptor 700R, Racers Edge tuned 734 Big Bore, CP 12.5:1 piston, Web 4 cam, 54mm Billet throttle body, +2 +2 KW valves/springs, HPS SS XP2 head, Monster Big Bore Duals, MSD fuel controler, Milers custom radiator, Pro Taper handlebars, AVS Pro's, ODI grips, Alba Racing nerfs, Alba front bumper, Pro Armor rear grab bar, Custom tripple rate Jogaca shocks, ITP rims, Maxxis Razr XC's, 21" 9 paddle Skat Trak Extremes for the dunes!

Rigid Industries 10'' LED bar I would start with any rotating weight first. There is a bunch of weight to be lost there with the added benefit of freeing up power. After that would be put it on a carb and loose all the electronics 2014 Raptor 700R, Racers Edge tuned 734 Big Bore, CP 12.5:1 piston, Web 4 cam, 54mm Billet throttle body, +2 +2 KW valves/springs, HPS SS XP2 head, Monster Big Bore Duals, MSD fuel controler, Milers custom radiator, Pro Taper handlebars, AVS Pro's, ODI grips, Alba Racing nerfs, Alba front bumper, Pro Armor rear grab bar, Custom tripple rate Jogaca shocks, ITP rims, Maxxis Razr XC's, 21" 9 paddle Skat Trak Extremes for the dunes!

The hill isn't always graded so parts need to be tough enough for some whoops. What's going to drop the weight the most for the money?

Thanks again all info is helpful Sent from my i Phone using Tapatalk 08 Raptor 700 Kenz built 727.

Eventually I want to work on all of it but obviously money comes into play.

I understand what makes them light but I'm specifically asking what's the best bang for buck.

Cut plastics, shave unused tabs, marvin shaw shocks and or fox floats. Then Things start getting serious, ti all over and chopping wiring harness.

Rigid Industries 10'' LED bar I'm not much of a dragger (hahaha), but I'd start with the obvious.

You can pretty much cut weight on everything down to bolts. Sent from my i Phone using Tapatalk 08 Raptor 700 Kenz built 727.

Then you need to think about going with light weight sub frame.

Then get rid of the heavy rear axle, get the carbon fiber brembro rear brake caliper kit, and your set.

I haven't went to spindles yet because of the huge cost for the spindles rims and tires. But if you ditched all the brakes, went spindle mount, lightweight a-arms and shocks up front, I bet you could drop 20lbs or more.
