Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson has married his long-term boyfriend Carl Hyland in a star-studded ceremony.
The actor, from Eccles, Salford, tied the knot with his partner at a lavish bash in the Peak District on Saturday.
Stunning photographs show the couple surrounded by their bridesmaids, including some of the cast of the long-running Channel 4 soap Kieron, 29, who plays bad boy Ste Hay in the drama, posed for pictures with Carl in front of the Devonshire Dome, Buxton, and they were captured sharing a kiss on their happy day.
Babes Stephanie Davis, Jorgie Porter, Jennifer Metcalfe and Jazmine Franks all donned wedding dresses alongside former stars Bronagh Waugh and Gemma Merna and Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack for the nuptials.
Kieron – who plays Ste Hay on the Chester-based soap – previously said the day would be a lavish affair."We want to do what everyone has been doing all these years – because finally we’re allowed to say those vows,” he said.“But that really is the only traditional thing we are doing.
I’ve had this image in my head of how I want it to be.” Kieron famously came out as gay during an interview on This Morning in 2010 after he was inspired by X Factor winner Joe Mc Elderry’s story.
His character on the soap – who is also gay – recently tied the knot to John-Paul Mc Queen but so far the path of true love has run far from smoothly for the couple.
